BORDER LINES: Head of German ABC departs

BERLIN: Top 10 German PR agency ABC CEO Michael Schroder has resigned. Sources say the departure is due to internal disputes over management. Eight other staff have also resigned. Management has been taken over by the MDs of ABC's branches in Bonn, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Hamburg and senior ABC PRO, Heiner Widdig. Hill and Knowlton are in talks with Schroder - who could be in the running for their Germany CEO position.
