Yeovil College has enlisted Rave Communications to create, design and launch its 2011 summer campaign. The fully integrated marketing strategy will include creative, advertising and PR briefs designed by Rave to put Yeovil College on the map for prospective students.

LOCOG director of comms Jackie Brock-Doyle is to speak at the CIPR local public services group's 2011 conference. She will tell delegates at the event, which takes places on 13-14 October at the CIPR headquarters in Russell Square, London, how they can engage their audiences and communities with the Olympics. The BBC Trust's plans to cut executive salaries will not be enough to restore public confidence in the corporation, according to PHA Media chairman Phil Hall. He suggested the move was 'more about a PR coup for (BBC Trust chair) Lord Patten than for the BBC'.
