Morgan Rossiter, a new London-based comms agency, has been established by Richard Morgan Evans, formerly MD of The Communication Group's financial practice, and James Rossiter, a director at Brunswick. Morgan Evans starts immediately. Rossiter will join when free from notice.

King's College London has recruited Maxine Taylor to become director of external relations, handling PR, marketing and public affairs. She was formerly director of public affairs at Nationwide Building Society.

Rontec Investments, the consortium of Snax 24, Grovepoint Capital and Investec that acquired Total's retail and fuel distribution business in the UK, has taken on Redleaf Polhill to handle its PR. The agency initially worked on the £400m acquisition.

Himalayan Fund, the London and New York-listed fund investing in Indian equities, has brought in CitySavvy as its pan-European PR adviser.

Stockwell Group has appointed an advisory panel of industry figures. The panel includes Miranda Curtis, non-exec director of Liberty Global; Roberto Quarta, European chairman of private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice; Keith Satchell, chairman of Rothesay Life; and Sir Nicholas Scheele, former president of Ford Motor Company.
