The Health and Safety Executive is calling for those in the public sector to give their thoughts on red tape. The Red Tape Challenge is seeking views on regulations. The HSE said comments would help it decide which regulations stay, which change and which go.

The University of Southampton is seeking a range of experienced PR suppliers. The tender will be for two different lots - PR services and corporate and strategic PR. The deadline for applications is 22 July.

Education Secretary Michael Gove has been criticised for his suggestion that a strike would be harmful to the reputation of the teaching profession. Cathcart Consulting CEO Jackie Elliot said: 'It was a half-hearted attempt to focus attention away from the reasons for the strike and move it towards the wobbly echelons of reputation management.'
