PUBLIC SECTOR: Barber to head King's corporate comms

King's College Hospital in London has appointed Claire Barber as head of corporate communications. She heads a team of five with responsibility for all internal and external communications - including the Trust's website. Barber joins from Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital where she was communications manager. She will report into chief executive Ron de Witt via Jane Walters, Head of Corporate Services. Barber replaces Nick Samuels, who has moved into healthcare at Burson-Marsteller.
