Peacock will now take on the role of associate director at Hill & Knowlton after being head of corporate comms and stakeholder engagement at the Carbon Trust since November 2006. He will start the newly created role from August.
Working closely with lead counsel, sustainability, Flic Howard-Allen, he will be focusing on brands such as P&G, InterContinental Hotels Group and the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.
Howard-Allen said: ‘Jim has worked with some of the most high-profile organisations in the sustainability space and brings with him a wealth of strategic experience, policy understanding and an impressive contacts book.’
Whilst at the Carbon Trust Peacock was responsible for national and international strategies to protect and build the corporate reputation of the company. He worked on a wide range of brands’ sustainability strategy and comms such as Tesco, PepsiCo and Dyson.
The Carbon Trust has already appointed a replacement for Peacock. They will start on 1 August as stakeholder comms manager.
