His appointment follows the arrival of John Evans earlier this year as director, digital corporate.
Thomas’ role will focus on driving digital mobile programmes. He will report jointly to chief digital creative officer James Warren and Weber Shandwick’s MD of consumer marketing, Rachel Friend.
Prior to The BIO Agency, Thomas held positions at digital marketing agencies Euro RSCG 4D and Halpern Cowan, global media agency OMD UK and Red Bull.
