As a member of the digital communications team, Thomas will focus on leading digital and mobile comms for UK consumer clients.

His appointment follows the arrival of John Evans earlier this year as director, digital corporate.

Thomas’ role will focus on driving digital mobile programmes. He will report jointly to chief digital creative officer James Warren and Weber Shandwick’s MD of consumer marketing, Rachel Friend.

Prior to The BIO Agency, Thomas held positions at digital marketing agencies Euro RSCG 4D and Halpern Cowan, global media agency OMD UK and Red Bull.

Weber Shandwick vice chair Fiona Noble said: ‘Following the recent launch of Creation, our full-scale, end-to-end brand experience business, Robin is a key appointment for Weber Shandwick.

‘Creating big ideas that travel across all platforms, particularly mobile, is key to consumer engagement and Robin’s appointment bolsters our strength in delivering multi-platform digital campaigns.’
