Public affairs agency The Policy Partnership has drafted in Rory Scanlan as a director to run its account for courier company UPS.
Scanlan joined last week after a year as an account director in rival PPS's national lobbying practice. He will report to agency founder Paddy Gillford and MD Andrew Smith and will run accounts for UPS and Russian oil firm Yukos.
At PPS, Scanlan worked on the formation of its 'election product', an information system for monitoring the business implications of the next general election and November's US presidential poll.
Scanlan, who worked at lobbyists Beaumark for two years, also spent 18 months as a Labour Party media and political intelligence officer.
Apart from UPS, The Policy Partnership works in the energy sector and for a number of foreign governments.
