What is it good for?
The menus are fresh and seasonal. All the dishes benefit from being made from scratch on the premises. It also accommodates different dietary requirements, such as gluten-free.
The grill menu, using 21-day-old beef from south Wales, offers the tastiest steaks, which are served with chips.
Who's the boss?
Knife & Fork Food owns the restaurant. Head chef is Wesley Hammond.
If you don't fancy a pudding, you can sample a dessert cocktail instead, such as the Espresso Martini or Death by Chocolate.
What's the damage?
Woods offers a Chef's Choice lunch menu, which is £10 for two courses or £12.50 for three. In the evenings, you can opt for the Pre Theatre menu, which is £16.95 for two courses and £19.95 for three. Alternatively, there is the regular lunch or dinner menu, with dishes priced individually.
