Hotwire grabs six-figure UK Citrix account

Citrix Systems has called in Hotwire to manage UK PR. The six-figure account is being shifted out of incumbent agency Lewis. Hotwire will target media and influencer relations, while delivering an integrated offand online campaign.

3 Monkeys has appointed Rocket consultant Steve Douthwaite as senior account director. He will report to head of technology Stuart Yeardsley.

WEEE Systems, the electronic waste management company founded by Bob Clarke, has selected tech agency Chameleon to handle PR and analyst relations. The agency will focus on educating UK businesses about the legal requirements surrounding electronic waste such as computers and printers.

Cognito, the mobile systems integrator, has appointed marketing agency Clevertouch to handle its UK PR and social media outreach, after a competitive four-way pitch. Clevertouch will promote its best practice ethos and content to UK businesses.

ORM, the website design company, has brought in integrated agency Rocket to handle UK comms following a competitive pitch. Rocket is to focus on building brand awareness, generating sales and targeting key audiences, both offand offline.

Claremont, the social marketing and strategic comms agency, has surveyed PR leaders on the topic of 'data is powered'. The research showed that data visualisation is a new emerging field within PR.

RED5, the gadget and gift retailer, has drafted in independent agency Beam to handle PR for red5.co.uk. Beam's brief is to build brand awareness and to drive traffic and sales.
