BORDER LINES: New PR head for financial authority

PARIS: Charlotte Judet has been named as the new head of PR for the French stock market watchdog, the COB (Commissions des Operations de Bourse), France's version of the financial services authority. COB was created in 1967 and is also charged with improving the quality of financial information issued by member companies of the Paris Bourse. The Paris Bourse announced in mid-September it would be linking up with the national stock markets of Belgium and The Netherlands, in a new exchange known as Euronext.
