Frank PR wins job to promote top Italian food firm

Leading Italian food-maker Sacla last week became the latest client to sign up to Frank Public Relations, the agency launched last month by ex-Lynne Franks MD Graham Goodkind.

Leading Italian food-maker Sacla last week became the latest client to sign up to Frank Public Relations, the agency launched last month by ex-Lynne Franks MD Graham Goodkind.

The account, formerly held by the consumer division of the Grayling group, is understood to be worth more than pounds 100,000 in annual fees. It will now be headed by joint Frank MD Nadia Gabbie.

The work will focus on strategic advice until the new year, by which time an account team will have been assembled to carry out a labour-intensive marketing initiative, Gabbie said.

The family-owned firm has cornered the market in pasta sauces in the UK, with up to 90 per cent market share for its leading products.

Sacla makes pesto and other sauces under its own name and for supermarkets including Marks and Spencer.

Grayling's team, led by account director Pippa Maltby, will stop work on the account at the end of this month.
