Rupert Thomas is the new editor of 65,000-selling monthly The World of Interiors. Thomas, who joined the Conde Nast title in 1991, had been editor-in-chief Min Hogg's deputy since 1997. Hogg decided not to return to the editor's chair after a sabbatical last year. Thomas began as a sub-editor on the glossy, after studying at the Courtauld Institute of Art and lecturing at Winchester School of Art.
