INTERNATIONAL: BORDER LINES - Shandwick gets OCBC Bank job

SINGAPORE: OCBC Bank has handed Shandwick a two-year contract for corporate PR and IR ahead of aggressive expansion. The 'six-figure' account was won after a two-way pitch against Edelman. Shandwick worked on a project basis for OCBC, Singapore's third largest bank, when it acquired Swiss investment bank UBS Warburg's retail broking operation in Singapore in December 2000. Shandwick financial practice director Hamish Bell heads the account, reporting to OCBC Bank head of corporate communications Dawn Lim.
