The brief is worth between £10,000 and £30,000, and has been issued on the Business Link website.
The deadline for submission of bids is 24 June.
ICO external communications manager Helena Szehidewicz said: ‘It’s a time when people are giving out a lot of personal information, joining addresses a lot and siging up to various clubs. The campaign is to remind students of the dangers.’
The brief reads: ‘The campaign will involve planning and organising the recruitment of 15 Student Brand Ambassadors from 15 different universities or higher education colleges around the UK.’
Last year’s campaign was handled by student marketing specialist agency Campus Group.
