Novartis selects Fuel to promote drinks brands

Novartis Consumer Health has appointed Fuel to handle its Ovaltine and Options brands.

Novartis Consumer Health has appointed Fuel to handle its Ovaltine and Options brands.

The win adds to the amount of business Fuel handles for Novartis Consumer Health, following on from the sports drink Isostar it won in June last year.

Fuel pitched for this one year contract to tackle trade and consumer promotion. Ovaltine and Options were previously handled by Countrywide Porter Novelli.

Ovaltine is currently undergoing a facelift, with Novartis marketing the brand as an energy drink.

Last November, for the first time since 1986, a TV advertising campaign took place. The ads return to our screens this month.

According to Fuel director Gillian Waddell, most work will be to develop the consumer programme to run alongside the revamp. Fuel will also tackle the consumer programme for the planned February relaunch of Options.
