BORDER LINES: Asia PR.Comz signs PCCW deal

SINGAPORE: Asia PR.Comz has won the first potential retainer contract for internet giant Pacific Century Cyber Works (PCCW) in Singapore for the launch of its Internet Data Centre. The firm beat Ketchum-owned agency SparkTech and Fleishman-Hillard, PCCW's retained agency in Hong Kong, in the pitch. Agency sources report PCCW has been reluctant to retain an agency in Singapore due to market uncertainty and a stock price which has recently plunged 77 per cent.
