BUENOS AIRES: Hill and Knowlton has completed its takeover of Argentine PR firm Vox Consulting. H&K, which is led by global president Paul Taaffe, now doubles its size in Argentina to at least pounds 1.4 million in fees. The agency gains ten staff and clients including Hertz and American Express. H&K's local CEO Edgardo Frola handed over his role to Vox founder Monica Maturano, but remains president. Five months ago, Vox became an affiliate of Fleishman-Hillard, which is believed to have bid for the agency.
