Reigning men's champion Rafael Nadal opens the tournament, which concludes on 3 July.

23 June: Dixon Retail full-year preliminary results.

Full-year preliminary results for the group that owns brands such as Currys, PC World and Dixons.co.uk.

24 June: Glastonbury Festival, Somerset.

Headliners this year are U2, Coldplay and Beyonce. The festival runs until 26 June.

29 June: Passenger Focus national passenger survey UK.

The spring national passenger survey, a biannual picture of passenger satisfaction with rail travel, is published.
