Clare Harbord joins BAA’s executive committee, reporting directly to CEO Colin Matthews.

Matthews said: ‘I am delighted that Clare will be joining my executive committee. She brings valuable, top level communications experience of both the Government and private sector to BAA.’

Harbord was previously head of comms at E.ON, and was responsible for all communications across the UK. She has also worked at Fishburn Hedges.

Harbord will lead BAA's internal and external communications, including media relations, public affairs, community relations, employee and passenger communications.

Harbord was replaced at the MoJ by Pam Teare last month, who has taken the newly expanded role of director of comms and information.
