House PR will handle national and regional comms to try to position the Great British Weekend event as a key summer music event, raise awareness of the concert and drive ticket sales.
The family-focussed Great British Weekend takes place from 15-17 July in the grounds of Warwick Castle.
Confirmed acts include X-Factor’s Olly Murs and Alexandra Burke and the English National Orchestra.
The agency will target national and regional print, broadcast and online media in a full, creative media relations campaign. Acts from the event will also be involved in the campaign.
Managing director Ginny Paton will lead the account, with support from account director Kate Arrowsmith. They will report to Warwick Castle brand manager Gareth Arculus.
