Kirkby began work on instinct at the start of the financial year in April. It is a pure-consumer lifestyle agency that specialises in fashion, health, beauty and entertainment.
instinct pr was set up to provide Kirkby with a 'new challenge', after he had spent the past six years at EdenCancan.
He said: 'I started instinct pr to offer consumer brands the knowledge that I've picked up over the past 10 years. We've been lucky enough to pick up some great brands over the past couple of weeks and we're pitching aggressively on some well known high street brands.'
The agency’s clients include Panache Lingerie and swimwear, which encompasses the Atlantis, Cleo and Masquerade ranges. It will also look after hair loss management expert Lucinda Ellery, and Puma TrainLite sports/fitness shoes, which are endorsed by Girls Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh.
Kirkby brings Puma TrainLite with him from EdenCancan. It also used to look after Lucinda Ellery, before the brand went in-house.
Based in Southwark, the instinct pr offices are located near the IPC media offices and the Northern and Shell building. It currently only has three members of staff.
