Accenture has promoted Deryn Wright to the position of PR head.
The decision follows the departure of David Martin, who has left to take up an MD position with Dublin-based agency, The Communications Partnership.
Wright, who was PR manager and Martin's deputy for two years, said she is set to appoint a replacement for her former role.
'There are several campaigns underway at the moment, including the ongoing rebranding,' said Wright.
Accenture came into being on 1 January this year as Andersen Consulting renamed itself and took the opportunity to rebrand more widely.
'We still work closely with our outside agency Burson-Marsteller, and I will be seeking to expand the department later in the year,' said Wright, who reports to Mike Gannaway, Accenture UK marketing director.
Ex-DTi PRO Vicki Trinder joined Accenture last December. She had been PRO to e-commerce and small business minister Patricia Hewitt.
Martin, meanwhile, has returned to his native Ireland to take the newly-created role at The Communications Partnership. The agency has several high-profile clients including Coke and national mobile phone company Meteor.
'I am heading the new IT and corporate division. CP has a good client list and I am taking charge of the IT sector which is expanding greatly in Ireland,' said Martin.
'I'm currently a one-man team, but I shall assess needs and work closely with other departments,' he added.
