Nokia hires Next Fifteen

Nokia has appointed a consortium of Next Fifteen agencies to handle its global PR work, but is also thought to be using Freuds for a significant project brief.

The Next Fifteen brief is understood to be worth in excess of £2m a year and sees the consolidation of three accounts into a single brief.

Previously, Nokia used Ketchum in the US, Good Relations in the UK and GolinHarris, which supported the head office's comms needs.

PRWeek understands that, separate to the retained pitch process, Nokia has instructed Freuds on a six-figure project brief to support the launch of a range of products using the MeeGo operating system it developed with Intel.

Freuds declined to comment and Nokia could not be reached.
