Martine Ainsworth Wells has been appointed as director of marketing and communications, joining from Visit London, where she was marketing director.
Julie Chappell has also been appointed as acting head of digital, who joins from her role as head of media at Visit London.
The news comes as part of the entire executive team’s appointments.
The new agency, launched on 1 April, has been created by bringing together the remits of three separate agencies Visit London, Think London and Study London to create a single vehicle to promote London to visitors, investors and students.
A statement from London & Partners explains: ’The executive directors have been appointed from within London & Partners to maintain continuity of expertise and knowledge from the previous agencies.’
Last month the COI put out a £184,000 PR brief on behalf of the organisation to promote the capital as a place for tourism, inward investment and study.
