Oneword Radio, the national digital radio station dedicated to plays, books, comedy and reviews, has appointed its first communications manager.
Christina Captieux takes over from launch agency MacLaurin, arriving after a 12-month spell as a freelance.
Currently working alone but with a remit to build a communications team, Captieux will be responsible for all external and internal PR and publicity.
'We are continuing to expand rapidly and it was inevitable that we would bring communications in-house,' said MD Ben Budworth.
Captieux reports to Budworth and head of programming, Paul Kent.
According to Captieux, one of her first tasks is to invite PR agencies involved in broadcasting and entertainment to come forward with ideas. Partnerships would then be developed.
