Technology: The Week in Technology - Edelman acquires GoSub agency

Edelman has expanded its European digital business through the addition of digital agency GoSub.

The move comes two months after Encore was added to the client list of the London digital team. Edelman currently has digital specialists in all of its EMEA offices.

Wordfruit, an online copywriter recruitment service, has launched a business model that will help marketing and advertising professionals find the right copywriters for jobs. The service allows job descriptions to be matched to individuals. Wordfruit currently has more than 423 copywriters on file.

Kaizo has been appointed by travel information specialist mxData to build market share among consumers. Activity is to kick off with a campaign aimed at London commuters involving the use of social media, public stunts and event hijacking.

M&C Saatchi sport and entertainment has been drafted in by Reebok to launch an app called The Promise Keeper. It will use Reebok ambassadors Lewis Hamilton and Amir Khan to promote a tool that encourages and motivates runners. The app links to social media sites to post a series of video messages and tweets.

Feedback Ferret, a company that helps organisations record and analyse customer feedback, has brought in EML Wildfire to raise the company's profile.

Ayima Search Marketing, a search engine optimisation consultancy, has called in Aspectus PR to manage its UK campaign. It will focus on raising Ayima's profile among top decision makers as well as educating its target markets of large businesses and e-commerce.
