PUBLIC SECTOR: Barnardo's seeks communications head

The UK's largest children's charity, Barnardo's, is on the hunt for a communication manager following incumbent Jayne Grier's decision to leave. Grier leaves at the end of January to move to Ghana with the VSO organisation for two years to become a management advisor for a physical disability charity. She joined Barnardo's two-and-half years ago and has led a team of five on events and conferencing briefs. Her replacement will report to Suzanne Heaney, head of advertising and communications.
