The website has handed tech specialist Dynamo a retained brief to build the brand.
Stuart Miles, founder and editor of Pocket-Lint, said: 'UK tech titles can no longer rely on Google for bringing traffic to them as much as they have seen in the past. At Pocket-Lint we're bringing in Dynamo to build the brand so people choose to come to our destination first for the latest gadget news. We're being proactive so we're not as reliant on search engine traffic as other titles.'
Dynamo will work on building relationships with in-house PROs and tech agencies to secure exclusive announcements, previews and review kits for the site. Recent Pocket-Lint exclusives include the news of BBC iPlayer coming to the iPad and the announcement of Google's 2.4 Android operating system.
Pocket-Lint has already re-launched its website to make it slicker and more user-friendly. The revamped site is also a response to a new algorithm launched by Google called Google Panda, which has affected website traffic to Pocket-Lint and other UK tech sites such as Electric Pig and Techradar.
