Viva Communications has won new business with the Swindon Children's Scrapstore, an environmental charity and social enterprise running a range of community projects. Stroud-based Viva is providing advice on how to promote the charity's various community projects, copywriting for marketing materials and helping to develop a low-cost brand identity.

Guerilla Gardening and Project Dirt have organised a 'Royal Weeding Day' to coincide with the royal wedding. Using a Facebook page, the two charities have signed up people to take part in local community environmental projects, such as planting flowers and pulling up unsightly weeds.
