Wood is taking some members of staff and clients with her. Other co-founder Miki Haines-Sanger has taken full ownership of Golden Goose PR and will continue with the business.
The Brooklyn Brothers is the latest advertising agency to boost its PR capacity, following Karmarama's high-profile launch of Kaper last year, and the launch of Beattie McGuinness Bungay’s PR division.
Wood said: ‘Miki and I have been in partnership for almost eight years during which time we've done some great work. I feel it's the right time to move on to a new challenge, which I'm really looking forward to.’
Golden Goose PR and The Brooklyn Brothers have worked together since 2009, when they jointly pitched and won the Woolworths.co.uk account.
In 2010, the PR agency moved into the advertising agency's office and the pair started to pitch together, winning the global Range Rover business to launch the car in 12 markets.
