Media Briefs: BBC launches new multi-media services

The BBC this week aggressively staked out new territory in TV, digital radio and on-line. As well as moving the nightly 9pm news bulletin to 10pm from 16 October, it announced five new national radio services to run alongside Radios 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Live and the World Service. These will be available via digital, satellite and cable TV, as well as digital radio and the internet.
