Public Sector: Marie Curie Cancer Care fills Jennings post

Marie Curie Cancer Care has appointed a new fundraising and marketing manager to replace Peter Jennings who left at the end of July to join the RNID as deputy chief executive. Mark Astarita starts at the beginning of next year, after seven years as deputy chief executive and fundraising, membership and PR director for the National Deaf Children's Society. At Marie Curie, he will be responsible for marketing, PR, and corporate and community fundraising and will report to new chief executive Tom Hughes- Hallett, who starts at the end of November.
