1. Who says horse riding and posh people weren't linked? The team at Rain Comms arranged a high-end horseback fashion show on Mother's Day. Bringing shoppers at McArthurGlen's Swindon designer outlet to a standstill, they marked the launch of the racing fashion season in true horsey style.

2. For UK Coffee Week, Birmingham's Urban Coffee Company teamed up with charity Project Waterfall to serve a rare coffee. The concoction was made from beans eaten and passed through the digestive tract of an Asian Palm Civet. Clive Reeves PR advised UCC to take the coffee on a tour around local newsrooms. The Birmingham Post's editor promptly tweeted: 'I have just drank some coffee that has been shat out of a small lion. Glad I put sugar in it.'

3. Frank PR got in touch with its childish side by writing on walls for the launch of client G-Shock's new store in Neal Street, in London's West End. Various nonsense was scribbled down.

But enough about those press releases.
