It is to support the river pageant, which will be the centrepiece of the festivities that will commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee weekend in June 2012.
The pageant is to be made up of a flotilla of more than 1,000 boats that will sail along the Thames and will be the biggest of its kind in more than 240 years.
Led by senior partner, Mark Gallagher, Pagefield will provide ongoing and comprehensive PR. He will also be working closely with Associate Partners Kate Levine and Sallie Ryle.
Mark Gallagher said: ‘The plans for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations are appropriately impressive. There will be a huge international focus on London in 2012 and we’re looking forward to our central role within it.’
Working in conjunction with event management company, Aura, Pagefield recently delivered the international medial launch of the Thames Diamond Jubilee Project, which was covered extensively by the media. Lord Salisbury, pageant master Adrian Evans and London Mayor Boris Johnson were present at the event.
Pagefield is a coporate public relations, regulatory affairs and campaigning specialist that launched at the end of 2010. It has since won accounts with companies such as ITN, Camelot and TalkSport.
