Ogilvy Digital Health combines WPP’s healthcare comms division, Ogilvy Healthworld UK and its digital team, Ogilvy Action. The new consultancy will offer digital communications for the healthcare sector and will be led by managing partners Caroline Howe and Simon Stebbing.
Paul O’Donnell, chairman, Ogilvy Group UK said the consultancy was in response to a growing demand for digital expertise in the sector.
'Digital is becoming an integral part of communication strategies across the board,’ he said.
‘In healthcare particularly, clients are looking for a partner who not only understands effective communication with both professional and consumer audiences, but who can also navigate a complex regulatory environment.’
The move brings together two teams at Ogilvy, working closely together with clients including Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, Lundbeck, Roche and Bayer.
