Voluntary Sector: The Week in Charities

Shelter has called in Amplify to handle a digital project as part of an ongoing consultancy role. The Rogue Landlord campaign has been created to inspire members of the public to take action against the issue of irresponsible and exploitative landlords.

The project centres on a 'mockumentary' video produced by Amplify alongside Irresistible Films, which stars stand-up comedian Sean Lock.

Totally Communications, the not-for-profit sector online specialist, has launched a web solution to help charities enhance their fundraising and data acquisition. Totally Communications has developed a platform called Totally Giving, which can be completely white-labelled, to sit within a charity's own website.

Crime Reduction Initiatives has appointed Kevin Perlmutter as director of comms. He was formerly head of PR and internal comms Europe and UK for the Xerox Corporation. In his new role, Perlmutter is responsible for all areas of comms including public affairs, PR, marketing and internal.

The Royal Free Charity, which raises funds for the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust, has rebranded with a new logo in an attempt to raise more funds and increase its public profile.
