Carsten Edwards, MD of Brandtectonics Access, the market access consultancy arm of CCC, has quit after less than a year in the role. It is understood that Edwards will be moving to Ogilvy Healthworld at the end of his three-month notice period, although sources at Ogilvy could not confirm this.
Meanwhile, Vicky Hunt, MD of Allidura, the consumer health practice arm of CCC, is leaving the firm after ten years. She is believed to be moving out of London to spend more time with her family.
Hunt and Edwards both declined to comment.
Commenting on the departures, the agency's EU MD Fiona Hall said that a replacement for Hunt would be 'announced in due course', but she was unclear on whether a replacement would be sought for Edwards.
The Brandtectonics Access team led by Edwards was split across a number of CCC businesses following an internal annual review in December last year.
'It became clear that our clients' growing market access comms needs would be best served by integrating our market access offering and the team across the CCC business,' said Hall.
Edwards joined CCC from Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2008 as director at Brandtectonics and was promoted to MD in April 2010. He replaced Neil McGregor-Paterson, who left in February the same year.
Hall added: 'We will be looking at how we move that business (Brandtectonics Access) forward in light of the changes implemented at the end of last year.'
