INTERNATIONAL: BORDER LINES - Seidenwerg leaves B-M Germany

HAMBURG: Burson-Marsteller (Germany) chairman Harel Seidenwerg has left the agency. The move comes as the agency undergoes restructuring after the takeover of B-M's parent company Young & Rubicam by marketing services giant WPP. The reshuffle aims to reduce non-client facing management. There are now three managing directors for B-M (Germany): Gabriele Velte, who looks after market leader and corporate practices, Gunter Knauth, leading the financial division, and Sonke Nissen at public affairs. It is believed the agency is looking for a head of technology PR.
