LD Communications brought in for Prince of Wales-backed eco-festival brief

LD Communications has been hired to handle PR for 'The Start Festival - Brilliant Living', an eco-festival backed by the Prince of Wales.

The agency has been brought in by festival promoter Innovision, to handle a multimedia PR campaign for the five-day event.

The festival will take place in three of London’s historic gardens – Clarence House, The Prince of Wales’ official London residence, and in the neighbouring gardens of Lancaster House and Marlborough House.

The Start Festival will take place from 27–31 July 2011.

The overall aim of the event is to show that small steps can be taken to achieve sustainable life styles and brilliant living.

Speaking ahead of last year’s event, The Prince of Wales said: ‘I am delighted to be able to welcome visitors into my gardens, and those of my immediate neighbours, for this exciting festival... This festival is just one way in which Start can help to demonstrate how we can all make a difference, however big or small the steps we take.’
