Strategy and plan
Rocket used Webcredible's position as a knowledge-sharing business and combined annual user experience reports with new angles on big stories. The PR team investigated what people want from political party websites ahead of the general election. Rocket then focused on the World Cup, with a report on the user experience of the streaming sites of major broadcasters. The team also used reports on travel and local government sectors to generate more news hooks and media interest.
Measurement and evaluation
The campaign generated more than 150 pieces of coverage in publications including The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, Sky News, BBC Online, Reuters, New Media Age, Retail Week and Broadcast.
The campaign led to sales enquiries from STV and interest from the Conservative Party. A story around the political reports generated more than 400 hits to Webcredible's website.
