Opinion: Letters of the Week - Professional bodies must show diplomacy and end their spat

It is sad that the two professional bodies representing our profession are having a slanging match (News, 25 March). This is unseemly behaviour.

Tact, discussion and building relationships is what PR should be all about, not gunboat diplomacy. Rather than conduct their spat in public, the two CEOs should iron out their differences.

Then we can get back to some of the key issues facing our industry, such as widening participation to the profession, education and payment for interns.
