Healthcare: The Week in Healthcare

Double success for CCD.

CCD PR has won two consumer natural health projects, which launch this month. The agency has been charged with increasing the number of visitors to a new website that evaluates the user's risk of developing Alzheimer's disease. CCD's brief also includes the promotion of Sirco fruit juice, which contains a tomato extract that naturally thins a person's blood and can help maintain healthy circulation.

The Alzheimer's Society and Alzheimer Scotland have mapped the state of dementia and diagnosis levels in the UK for the first time, revealing that more than a million people will have undiagnosed dementia by 2021. To support the launch of the partnership with Tesco and the 'Mapping the Dementia Gap' study, the Alzheimer's Society worked with PR and digital comms agency Claremont to develop an interactive map.

Salix Consulting has launched an offshoot, Salix Creative, a joint venture with healthcare creative agency Eleven Social. The Salix media, PR, and reputation management offering now extends to brand development and design, advertising, web design and social media.
