An internet-based media service for PROs and radio stations was launched this week by specialist agency Radio Results.
The impetus behind the concept is the company's website, freeradiostuff.co.uk. This is only available to radio stations, which use it to view the types of stories, interviews and campaigns that Radio Results has available to run.
A second site, radiopr.co.uk, is for PROs, who can input the sort of campaign or client contact information for which they want coverage. This appears on freeradiostuff in a variety of categories - for example, 'interviews' is sub-divided into subject areas such as 'B2B', 'charities', 'dot.coms', 'government' and 'music'.
Grant Levy, Radio Results MD, emphasised that radiopr.co.uk is not designed to replace direct contact with the agency. But it allowed radio stations an accurate idea of what PROs had to offer, and showed PROs how their information would be distributed.
Ninety stations had signed up to freeradiostuff.co.uk, said Levy.
