Former Scottish Equitable PR chief Scott White opens Edinburgh office for Broadgate Mainland

Financial comms agency Broadgate Mainland has opened a Scottish office and brought in ex-Scottish Equitable and Standard Life PR chief Scott White to run it.

White joins the agency from Black to White PR, which he founded in 2009. White’s existing clients, including wealth management firm Fiscal Engineers and the Irish Fund Investment Association, will continue with Broadgate Mainland.
White has almost 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry including spells heading up the external comms functions at Aegon UK and Standard Life.
White will take up his position with immediate effect and will operate from an Edinburgh base. White also has the remit to recruit a team for Broadgate Mainland in Scotland as and when the opportunities present.

Broadgate Mainland’s chairman is Michael Walker, who is also chairman of Walkers Shortbread Limited, Longbow Growth and Income VCT and Scottish Friendly Assurance Society Limited.
