BORDER LINES: BERLIN Raike to leave BSMG Deutschland

Wolfgang Raike, one of BSMG Deutschland’s four managing directors, is leaving at the end of the month. The company, created last month by BSMG buying a stake in local agency MPC, said Raike’s departure was due to different interpretations of the strategy and structure of the newly-formed group. Raike founded Ayer PR ten years ago, which became part of APR/BSMG Worldwide at the end of 1998. One year later, the agency merged with MPC. Raike remains contractually tied to BSMG for several months, and is unable to work elsewhere during that time.
