Gavin Anderson and Company has appointed Marc Popiolek as chief
executive officer of its London practice.
He succeeds Richard Constant, MBE, who was appointed as worldwide chief
executive of Gavin Anderson (PR Week, 11 February). Previously, Gavin
Anderson himself was the chief executive. He remains as chairman.
Popiolek joined Gavin Anderson in 1995 and was made managing director of
the London office last year. Prior to this, he has worked at Financial
Dynamics as a director. For nine years, he was a journalist, working
latterly for the Daily Telegraph.

Popiolek’s promotion is the latest in a series of senior appointments
made by Gavin Anderson in the last two months. These include a new
