International communications group Incepta has acquired on-line
investor relations agency MARCHCom. co.uk in a deal worth up to eight
Incepta, which owns the Citigate PR brands, announced this week it had
acquired MARCHCom and two of its subsidiaries in an attempt to boost the
listed company’s new media and internet capabilities.
MARCHCom produces services called CAROL (Company Annual Reports Online),
and E-TV, a web-based corporate video and audio system. Both will now
sit within Incepta’s on-line division, Citigate.com. MARCHCom clients
include BA, Telewest and Hays. The company, which has also worked for
EMI, Corus Group and the Arts Council of England, recently won the
European Investor Relations Magazine award for Best IR web site.
Incepta CEO, David Wright, described the acquisitions as ’an exciting
addition to our new media offering’.
Citigate.com cuts across the four Incepta divisions of PR, marketing
communications, design and publishing and advertising.
