Public Affairs: The Week in Lobbying

The UK Public Affairs Council's register of Westminster lobbyists is now live at

There are 1,613 individuals on the register, with 110 corporate bodies (agencies or in-house teams) registered. It will next be updated on 1 April and after that on a quarterly basis. Launching the register last week, UKPAC chairman Elizabeth France said: 'We are on a journey and this is a significant step forward.'

Bupa has promoted Helen Vaughan-Jones to be head of UK and EU government affairs. Vaughan-Jones steps up after five years with the international healthcare provider in various media relations, research and public policy roles. She reports to corporate affairs director Steve John.

Kreab Gavin Anderson has signed up Thomson Reuters global head of government & regulatory affairs Henry Manisty as a senior adviser. He will join on 1 March after retiring from Thomson Reuters.

ITV Wales has appointed Huw Rossiter, former head of public affairs at the Independent Television Commission, as public affairs manager. Rossiter currently runs his own public relations consultancy, Rossiter Communications. He will report to Phil Henfrey, head of news and programmes at ITV Wales.
