The activity will include a number of product launches and will aim to engage people both inside and outside of the traditional wine market.
W Communications will work on the campaign alongside Gallo Family Vineyards’ advertising agency The Assembly. The campaign will include fully integrated PR activity including events, social media and the appointment of celebrity brand ambassadors, as well as engagement with consumer media.
The agency has won the Gallo account for the second year running off the back of a successful campaign last summer.
In 2010 the agency helped raise awareness of Gallo Rosé and drive a trial by young women. The campaign included a talent deal with Sky Sports presenter Georgie Thompson and pop-up events at The House of St Barnabas, the Notting Hill Carnival and Henley Regatta.
